Tour Overview
The trip opens with Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur, moving through forts, monuments, and old city streets at a steady pace. Varanasi comes next, with life along the Ganges, evening aarti, and quiet walks through the old lanes. Khajuraho follows, known for its detailed temple carvings.
From there the trip turns to forest. Panna has river stretches, rocky terrain, and a tiger population on the rise. Bandhavgarh closes the trip with a tighter forest layout and frequent wildlife movement, giving strong chances for sightings.
Temples, ghats, history, and wildlife, all in one route.
- Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur, covering forts, monuments, and city streets
- The Taj Mahal at sunrise, along with Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri
- Ganga Aarti in Varanasi and an early boat ride on the river
- The Khajuraho temples and their detailed stone carvings
- Morning and evening safaris in Panna and Bandhavgarh
- One route that brings together temples, ghats, history, and wildlife
Palaces, ghats, temples and tigers
Four very different Indias in one route - Mughal cities, sacred river, carved temples, and forest - each given real time rather than a rushed pass-through.
01
Golden Triangle
Delhi, Agra, Jaipur
Mughal capitals in succession - Jama Masjid's crowds, the Taj at first light, Amer Fort climbing its ridge above Jaipur. India's most travelled road, and still its most trafficked for good reason.
6 Days · 3 Cities
02
Varanasi
Uttar Pradesh
The Ganges at dawn from a rowboat, the ghats lit by evening aarti - one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities on Earth, and a different register of India entirely after three days of forts.
2 Days · 1 City
03
Khajuraho
Madhya Pradesh
Sandstone temples carved to their last inch, still standing a thousand years on - the western group by evening light, the rest the following morning before the drive to Panna.
2 Days · 1 City
04
Panna
Madhya Pradesh
Rocky plateau cut by the Ken river - a reserve still rebuilding its reputation after tigers were reintroduced here from scratch, and the trip's first taste of forest after nine days of cities and temples.
5 Safaris · 3 Days
05
Bandhavgarh
Madhya Pradesh
A cliffside fort of uncertain age overlooks the Tala and Magadhi valleys - some of the highest tiger density recorded anywhere in India, and the trip's closing chapter.
5 Safaris · 4 Days
The route, stop by stop.
A single journey from Delhi through Agra and Jaipur, then flights to Varanasi and on to Khajuraho, before an overland run through Panna and Bandhavgarh, closing back in Delhi.
