Tour Overview
This trip pairs two very different big cat habitats. Bera is quiet and scenic, with open rocky hills where leopards often rest out in clear view. Morning and evening safaris give you time to track patiently and get good photographs.
Gir National Park changes the setting completely, with teak forest, grass patches, and steady lion movement. Safaris are planned across different routes to improve your chances. Along with lions, you may spot leopards, antelope, hyenas, and plenty of birdlife near the water bodies.
A relaxed pace throughout, built for wildlife lovers and photographers who want proper time with both lions and leopards, not a rushed drive-through.
- Begin your trip in Bera, known for leopards that live around the rocky hills and village landscape
- Enjoy morning and evening safaris that cover the main leopard zones for better chances of sightings
- Move to Gujarat and enter Gir, the only home of the Asiatic lion
- Explore Gir’s core zones with multiple safaris planned across different routes
- Spot lions, leopards, deer herds, jackals, and many birds across semi dry forest tracks
