Tour Overview
This plan gives you time inside two very different ecosystems. Manas sits close to the Himalayan foothills and has thick forest cover, river crossings, and quiet trails where wildlife movement feels natural and unhurried. You will enjoy full safari days that offer good chances of spotting elephants, wild buffalo, deer, and many birds that stay near the river.
Kaziranga brings a change in landscape with wider views, tall grass, and open grazing grounds. The park is known for its rhinos, but you also get regular elephant sightings and a strong mix of birdlife. The safaris cover different zones so you can see more variety in habitat and animal activity. The trip moves at a steady pace and works well for guests looking for deeper wildlife time in Assam.
- Start your trip in Manas, a UNESCO site known for elephants, wild buffalo, birdlife, and calm forest drives
- Move to Kaziranga, the best place to see one horned rhinos at close range
- Explore the park’s varied zones with chances to spot elephants, swamp deer, wild boar, and many birds
- Good mix of dense forest at Manas and wide grasslands at Kaziranga
- Short drives between parks and simple travel flow make the plan easy for families and small groups
Forest and grassland, two ways
