Tour Overview

This itinerary begins with India’s classic Golden Triangle. Delhi, Agra and Jaipur introduce you to Mughal and Rajput architecture, guided city tours, and local markets. You visit the Taj Mahal at both sunset and sunrise, explore historic forts, and walk through well preserved heritage sites.

The journey then moves to Assam. Kaziranga offers wide grasslands and strong chances of spotting one horned rhinos, wild buffalo, elephants, and rich birdlife. After the northeast, the tour shifts to Central India where Pench and Tadoba provide focused tiger safaris. Morning and evening drives increase the chances of seeing big cats along with leopards sloth bears deer and other wildlife.

  • Explore Old and New Delhi including Jama Masjid India Gate Qutub Minar and Humayun’s Tomb.
  • Visit the Taj Mahal at sunset and sunrise along with Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri.
  • Discover Jaipur’s City Palace Hawa Mahal Amer Fort and lively local markets.
  • Travel to Kaziranga National Park known for one horned rhinos and open grasslands.
  • Continue to Pench and Tadoba for multiple tiger safaris across prime forest zones.
  • A balanced plan that combines culture rhinos and extended tiger tracking.

Palaces, rhinos and tigers

Six days of forts and cities, then rhino grassland in Assam, then two of Central India's strongest reserves - three very different Indias in one long route.

01

Delhi

Delhi

The capital in transit - a first night to settle in before the road south, with Old Delhi's density waiting for a longer visit another time.

2 Day · 1 City

02

Agra

Uttar Pradesh

Agra Fort's red sandstone by afternoon, the Taj Mahal at first light the single most travelled sightline in the country, and still worth the crowds. Fatehpur Sikri on the way out, a Mughal capital abandoned to its own ambition.

2 Days · 1 City

03

Jaipur

Rajasthan

Amber Fort climbing its ridge above the city, the old bazaars doing brisk trade below. A full day in Rajasthan's pink city before the road turns back toward Delhi.

2 Day · 1 City

04

Kaziranga

Assam

Grassy floodplain along the Brahmaputra - the last stronghold of the one-horned rhino in numbers found nowhere else, with wild buffalo and swamp deer moving through the same tall grass.

4 Safaris · 3 Days

05

Pench

Madhya Pradesh

Hill country laced by the Pench river, part of the landscape that shaped Kipling's Seeonee jungle - quieter than the bigger reserves, and no less wild for it.

5 Safaris · 3 Days

06

Tadoba

Maharashtra

Teak forest breaking into golden grassland - among the most consistent reserves in the country for daylight sightings, and the trip's closing chapter.

6 Safaris · 4 Days

The route, stop by stop.

A single journey from Delhi through Agra and Jaipur, then a flight to Kaziranga, before a second flight to Nagpur to begin the safari circuit through Pench and Tadoba, closing back in Delhi.
