Tour Overview

This tour moves through three distinct sides of Assam's wildlife. It opens in Manas, a quiet forest close to the foothills, where riverbeds and dense trails hold steady sightings of elephants, deer, wild buffalo, and birdlife. Morning and evening safaris give you time to work the deeper tracks properly.

Kaziranga opens things up, with tall grass and wide views built for large herbivores. Rhino sightings are common here, alongside elephants, swamp deer, and wetland birds, with safaris split across two zones for variety.

The trip closes at Gibbon Wildlife Sanctuary, home to the Hoolock Gibbon, India's only ape. A guided walk here offers a rare look at primates moving through the canopy, a slower close to a trip built around forest drives.

  • Begin your journey in Manas, known for elephants, wild buffalo, and calm forest drives
  • Cover core routes with morning and evening safaris for better wildlife activity
  • Continue to Kaziranga for one horned rhinos, open grasslands, and strong birdlife
  • Explore multiple Kaziranga zones for wider habitat and better viewing
  • See the Hoolock Gibbon in its natural habitat along with macaques and forest birds
