Tour Overview

Sixteen days, five reserves, one clean route - Tadoba to Pench, Kanha, Bandhavgarh, and finally Panna, with no backtracking. Each park brings something different: dense forest, open grassland, rocky hills, river country.

With this many safaris on the calendar, there's room to actually read the jungle - follow tracks, wait out a sighting, learn a zone instead of rushing through it. It's a demanding trip, but a well-paced one, built for people who want a proper tiger safari, not a checklist tour.

  • Five major tiger reserves, one continuous circuit through the heart of Central India
  • Start in Tadoba - open forest tracks and water bodies keep tigers close to the safari routes
  • Move on to Pench and Kanha, where sal forests and grasslands hold a strong prey base
  • Settle into Bandhavgarh's tight zones, among the highest tiger densities in the country
  • End in Panna - rocky plateaus and river valleys for a calmer, closing chapter
  • Watch the terrain and tiger behavior shift as you cross from park to park

Five parks, read in full.

Long safari blocks in each reserve, not a quick pass through - enough days for the terrain, the prey base, and the tiger behaviour to actually shift between parks.

01

Tadoba

Maharashtra

Teak forest breaking into golden grassland - among the most consistent reserves in the country for daylight sightings, and the trip's opening chapter straight off the road from Nagpur.

5 Safaris · 3 Days

02

Pench

Madhya Pradesh

Hill country laced by the Pench river, part of the landscape that shaped Kipling's Seeonee jungle - quieter, and no less wild for it.

5 Safaris · 3 Days

03

Kanha

Madhya Pradesh

Sal forest and bamboo thicket at the largest scale of the five - shared between the tiger and the hard-ground barasingha, found in the wild nowhere else on earth.

5 Safaris · 3 Days

04

Bandhavgarh

Madhya Pradesh

A cliffside fort of uncertain age overlooks the Tala and Magadhi valleys - some of the highest tiger density recorded anywhere in India, and compact enough to work its zones hard in a short stay.

5 Safaris · 3 Days

05

Panna

Madhya Pradesh

Rocky plateau cut by the Ken river - a quieter reserve than the others, still rebuilding its reputation after tigers were reintroduced here from scratch, and the trip's closing chapter.

6 Safaris · 4 Days

The route, camp by camp.

A single continuous overland passage from Nagpur, through Tadoba, Pench, Kanha, Bandhavgarh, and Panna in turn, closing at Khajuraho for the flight back to Delhi.
