Tour Overview
A 10 day trip through three of India's best known wildlife areas. From Delhi, the route moves into Ranthambore, Jawai, and Gir, each with its own terrain and its own cat. Ranthambore is known for tigers moving through old ruins and dry forest. Jawai has open granite hills where leopards rest in plain sight. Gir holds the only wild population of Asiatic lions left in the world, set across teak forest and scrub.
Safaris are spread across all three parks, with naturalists guiding each drive. Alongside the big cats, expect sightings of deer, birds, and other wildlife typical to each region. A solid trip for anyone who wants tigers, leopards, and lions in one clean route.
- Three parks, three different big cats: Ranthambore, Jawai, and Gir
- Strong chances to spot tigers in Ranthambore, Asiatic lions in Gir, and leopards in Jawai
- Good opportunities for wildlife photography, including the rare Asiatic lions of Gir
- Naturalists on hand who know the parks and can explain animal behaviour and conservation work
- Three very different landscapes, from rocky hills to dry forest, each shaped around protecting its wildlife
Ruins, rock hills and lion country
Tiger among a medieval fort, leopards on open granite, then the world's only wild Asiatic lions - three very different landscapes for three different cats.
