Delhi to Agra
You will be picked up from Delhi and driven to Agra, a journey of roughly three to four hours. After checking in and freshening up, the afternoon is spent at Mehtab Bagh, a beautiful Mughal garden sitting directly across the Yamuna river from the Taj Mahal. It is one of the finest spots in Agra to watch the sun go down with the Taj glowing in the fading light. From here you head to Agra Fort, a massive red sandstone fort that once served as the main residence of the Mughal emperors. The fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and offers fascinating insights into Mughal architecture and history. Evening at leisure. Overnight in Agra.
Day 2
Agra to Delhi
The morning begins early with a sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal. Seeing the Taj in the first light of the day is a truly unforgettable experience. The soft morning glow, the calm surroundings and the sheer scale of the monument make this one of those rare moments that stays with you long after you leave. After spending time at the Taj, you check out of the hotel and drive back to Delhi, arriving by early afternoon.
