Staying here lets you feel the forest more closely than any resort outside the park.
Over three days you will enjoy four jeep safaris, each offering a different view of the jungle. Early mornings are ideal for spotting tigers, leopards, elephants, and a wide range of birds, while evenings bring softer light and chances to see deer, wild boar, and other animals moving through the forest. It is not only about wildlife sightings but also about living within the natural rhythm of the jungle.

Day 1
Arrival and First Safari Adventure
The trip begins at noon with a pickup from Ramnagar. A short 20-minute drive through Dhangadi gate takes you to the forest rest house. After checking in, a vegetarian lunch will be served. In the afternoon, you will head out for your first jeep safari from 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm. As the forest comes alive in the evening, you may spot a variety of wildlife moving around before sunset. Dinner will be arranged at the rest house, followed by an overnight stay in the heart of the jungle.
Day 2
Morning and Evening Safaris in the Forest
The day starts early with a morning safari scheduled between 5:30 am and 9:00 am, the best time to see active wildlife. After returning, breakfast will be served, followed by some rest at the rest house. Vegetarian lunch will be served before you set out for an afternoon jeep safari from 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm. As evening approaches, you will return to the rest house for dinner and spend another night inside the forest.
Day 3
Sunrise Safari and Departure
The final day begins with a morning safari from 5:30 am to 9:00 am, giving one last opportunity to enjoy the forest at sunrise. After returning, breakfast will be served and you will check out from the rest house. By noon, you will be dropped back at Ramnagar, marking the end of your Dhikala forest experience.
Important Rules to Follow
- Accommodation inside the park is basic. Rooms are simple and services are limited, especially in rest houses outside Dhikala.
- Meals inside the core zone are usually vegetarian. Some forest rest houses have a simple canteen. Non veg food, outside food, and liquor are not allowed.
- Mobile network may be weak or not available in many parts of the Dhikala zone.
- Electricity is limited in most rest houses. Dhikala Forest Rest House usually has electricity throughout the day, while others may only have generator supply for a few hours.

Booking Procedure
To confirm your seat, a 50% advance amount along with a recognized Government Identity card (Aadhar, Pancard, Driver’s License, OCI, Passport, Voter’s ID, school/College ID) is to be sent to us.
For non Indian nationals, only Passport is allowed.
