Pench at night is different from the Pench during the day. It offers two different wildlife experiences. During the day's tiger safari, you will get to see the habitat of diurnal animals, however, at night you will get to see the wilderness of nocturnal animals. The look of the jungle changes under the shining stars and glowing moon.
A Pench night safari is full of goosebump-like experiences. It is a thrilling adventure to follow the pug marks of wolves and their howls to spot them at night. And yes, of course, spotting the Bengal Tiger, especially at night, is an adrenaline-pumping experience in Pench, where if you're lucky, you'll get to see a live-action of the Bengal tiger hunting the prey.
Also In this wolf safari, you will not only get to track and see the wolves but will get to see other nocturnal animals like sloth bears, hyenas, Indian leopards, honey badgers, caracals, owls, etc.
Wondering whether there are nocturnal birds other than the owls and bats in Pench? Then yes there are other nocturnal birds like nightjar and night herons found here. And also there is one bird that, even though it is a diurnal, is also active during the night till 8.00 pm. That bird is the Greater racket-tailed drongo.

Do You Know?
There is a specific area dedicated to wolves Just 3 km from Turiya gate. It is known as the wolf wildlife sanctuary. And as the Pench night safari takes place through this buffer zone, it is also called the Pench wolf safari.
Gypsy Details For Pench Wolf Safari
Only three gypsies are allowed during the night safari. The entry fee for jeep entry is around Rs. 1500, to hire the jeep it's Rs 2000 and to hire an expert guide, it is around Rs. 360.
