Social Media Internship Nagpur
Tell Our Story, One Sighting at a Time
At Big Cats India, every day brings a new story from the jungle, a tiger crossing a dirt track at dawn, a black panther slipping through the Kabini undergrowth, a guest seeing their first wild leopard and going completely silent for a second before they can even speak. Our social media is where all of that comes alive for people who haven’t made the trip yet, and for the ones already planning their next one.
We’re looking for a Social Media Intern who genuinely loves wildlife and knows how to make a feed feel alive rather than curated to death.
What you’ll be doing
- Planning and posting content across Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube that reflects what actually happens on our safaris
- Working with footage and photos from our naturalists and guests to put together reels, stories, and posts that don’t feel staged
- Keeping an eye on comments and DMs, and responding the way we’d want a guest to be spoken to, warmly, and quickly
- Tracking what’s working and what isn’t, and adjusting without needing to be told twice
- Helping build out campaigns around key seasons, tiger sightings, monsoon closures, festival travel, and the opening of new parks
What we’re looking for
- Someone who has actually run social accounts before, personal or professional, and has a feel for what stops the scroll
- A genuine interest in wildlife and Indian forests. This shows in the way you talk about it, not just in a resume line
- Comfortable with tools like Canva, CapCut, or similar, and open to learning what we already use
- Good written English, since a lot of our audience is international
- Someone who can work with minimal hand-holding once they understand the brand
