Kanha Tiger Safari Timings

Kanha Tiger Reserve, located in the heart of Madhya Pradesh, is one of India’s most scenic and well-managed wildlife destinations. From tall sal trees to open meadows and winding streams, the landscape here is as breathtaking as the wildlife it shelters. But to truly soak in the magic of this forest, it’s important to time your safari just right.

Kanha operates on a structured safari schedule that shifts slightly with the seasons. Mornings are perfect for catching predator movements and bird activity, while evenings bring a golden glow over the jungle—ideal for both sightings and photography.

Do keep in mind: Wednesday evening safaris in core zones remain closed in Madhya Pradesh as part of routine conservation work. So plan your visit accordingly.
