Photography Tour

Pench guided photography tour with expert field guidance, Six safaris, slow drives, and real chances to photograph tigers, wildlife behavior, and forest scenes.

Tajmahal and Tiger Tour

Tour Overview

The Pench Guided Photography Tour is a four day wildlife focused safari led by an expert wildlife photographer inside Pench National Park. The tour is designed for photographers who want practical learning in real forest conditions, not classroom style sessions.

During the safaris, the photographer conducts on field photography workshops with live guidance on camera settings, light handling, and composition. Between safaris, guests take part in image review sessions where selected photographs are discussed to improve technique and storytelling.

The tour also includes an advance post processing workshop focused on workflow, file selection, and basic editing suited for wildlife images. With six guided safaris, slow paced drives, and dedicated time for learning, this tour suits beginners and intermediate photographers who want to build confidence while respecting wildlife and forest rules.

Days 1 - 4

Day 1

Arrival in Nagpur, Pench transfer & evening safari

You arrive at Nagpur airport or railway station. Our team receives you and drives you to Pench. The drive takes around three to four hours and passes through forested countryside.

After check in at the lodge, you have time to freshen up and prepare your camera gear. Your photography guide gives a short briefing about light conditions, expected wildlife movement, and camera settings for the evening.

In the afternoon, you head out for your first safari in Pench. The focus stays on getting familiar with the forest, understanding animal behavior, and adjusting to shooting from a safari vehicle. Even if sightings are brief, this safari helps you settle into the rhythm of forest photography.

Return to the lodge after sunset. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

Morning and evening photography safaris

The day starts early with tea or coffee before heading into the forest. Morning light in Pench is soft and ideal for wildlife photography. Your guide helps you position the vehicle based on light direction and background.

The focus remains on tigers, deer activity, alarm calls, and bird movement. Time is given to observe behavior rather than rushing between zones.

After the safari, return to the lodge for breakfast. Late morning and afternoon are kept free for rest, image backup, and discussion if needed.

In the evening, you head out again for safari. As temperatures drop, animal movement often increases. This session is good for action shots, dust trails, and forest mood images.

Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 3

Morning and evening photography safaris

This full day allows you to apply what you have learned so far. By now, you are comfortable with forest conditions and vehicle movement.

The morning safari focuses on tracking fresh signs and following known movement areas. Your guide assists with camera settings for changing light and fast moments.

After breakfast and rest time, the evening safari gives another chance to work on composition, foreground elements, and animal interactions. Even quiet safaris are used to practice forest and habitat shots.

Return to the lodge after sunset. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4

Morning Safari, Checkout after breakfast

On the final day, you head out for one last morning safari. This is often the most relaxed drive, with time to wait patiently at promising spots and enjoy the forest without pressure. After returning from the safari, you have breakfast and check out from the lodge. Our team then drives you back to Nagpur for your onward journey.
