There was a time when there were more than a Lac Royal Bengal Tigers freely roaming in India, But the downfall comes in the 19th Century when illegal poaching, hunting, man-animal conflicts, habitat loss, and industrialization has taken wings.
Now, there are only 3167 Tigers left in the wild in India.
