Nagzira Tiger Safari Timings
Nestled in the eastern part of Maharashtra, Nagzira Wildlife Sanctuary offers a beautiful blend of rich biodiversity and serene forest landscapes. Known for its peaceful environment and rising tiger sightings, it’s a great choice for wildlife lovers looking for a less-crowded yet rewarding safari experience.
The sanctuary operates two safari slots daily—one in the morning and another in the evening. These timings change slightly depending on the season, primarily to match daylight hours and animal activity patterns.
Note: Nagzira is closed on every Thursday.

Nagzira Opening & Closing Months
Nagzira Wildlife Sanctuary remains open from October 1st to June 30th every year. The sanctuary is closed during the monsoon months—July to September—to allow the forest to regenerate and for safety reasons.
While core zones are completely shut during this period, a few buffer routes may open occasionally based on rainfall and forest department decisions. It’s best to check local updates if planning a visit near the season’s end or beginning.
